This is a typical water treatment system for boilers that uses the Tri-Tron scale scale controller for keeping the tube bundles clean and free from scale. The unit is installed before the boiler and the Tri-Tron precipitates the calcium into very small calcium carbonate crystals so they pass freely though the boilers heat exchange tubes. By controlling the scale upstream from the boiler and allowing these crystals to pass through the tubes, they are expelled with the use of the boiler.
